An experienced guide will drive you by snowcat up the glacier. In good weather conditions you can enjoy a fantastic view over Hellissandur and Breida ordur Bay and on especially clear days you might even spot the far-o West ords. The famous novelist Jules Verne once chose Snaefellsjokull Glacier to be the entrance “to the center of the Earth”.
